Minnesota Wild rookie Luke Kunin couldn’t have had a better person to set up his first NHL goal. Eric Staal had already scored a short-handed goal earlier in the game, so the Islanders and Tomas Greiss had to respect his ability to shoot. But, Staal sent a pass on a 2-on-1 break to Kunin and Kunin slid it 5-hole for his first career goal. This was awesome.
