When I look down in the corner of my computer, it tells me that today is August 23rd. What this means is that it is about two weeks until training camps start opening up, and once that happens, as far as I am concerned, hockey season is back. With a new hockey season comes more writing, the return of "The Walk," and hopefully some more of what we finished last season up with - a growing community here at Hockey Wilderness.
To that end, we proudly offer the first ever "Hockey Wilderness Fantasy Hockey League." This league will be hosted on Yahoo! Sports fantasy hockey site, just as soon as they open the site back up. I will operate as the league's commissioner, as well as sliding a team into the league to show my true domination over all of you.
What I need from all of you is an answer to a simple question - Are you in, or are you out?
If you are willing to accept the challenge and attempt to step on as many fellow Wilderness readers heads as possible while you punch and claw your way to the top of the standings, please let me know in the comments below, and follow that up with an email to me. So... let's see it. How many of you out there think you can beat me? (Keep in mind I finished in last place in the Playoff Bracket Challenge.)
