Today was a big day around USA hockey as the official threads were released to the public. It features a blue with red and white striped shield and matte stars on the shoulders. The release of the new jerseys also sparked widespread social media judgements. Most of the opinion that they had botched the design. In other news coming from Zach and Alisha Parise, they are expecting twins. Yes, twins. The news led some to believe that maybe there is something in the water around Minnesota's ten thousand lakes. Just last month, Joe and Maddie Mauer welcomed twin baby girls to the world. Two hometown heroes and 4 kids apiece. You can't make it up. You can read more about the Parise news on Russo's blog here.
