Spooky season is here! While hockey teams always celebrate with a party off the ice, they should also be allowed to celebrate on it. Halloween warm-ups could be a lot of fun if the players were allowed to dress up. So what kinds of costumes would they put together?

    Mats Zuccarello + Kirill Kaprizov

Is there any question that these two would dress up together? They wouldn’t put too much thought into it because they’re always focused on hockey instead. So they probably go to Target and grab two pairs of dog ears plus some face paint to paint on a nose and some whiskers. It’s simple but adorable.

    Ryan Hartman

While Zuccarello and Kaprizov didn’t actually include him in their costume idea, he catches wind of it and uses it as inspiration for his costume. Hartman buys a baseball cap and writes DOG CATCHER on it.

    Joel Eriksson Ek

Eriksson Ek puts by far the most thought and effort into his costume. He makes himself into a giant bunch of grapes by placing a bunch of purple balloons in a clear bag and making holes for his legs and arms. All of the balloons are popped only five minutes into the warmup, and Ek sadly leaves the ice to take his costume off.

    Brandon Duhaime

Playing into the stereotypes about him, Duhaime dresses up like a clown with a rainbow wig and clown makeup. Unfortunately, Duhaime picks very authentic clown makeup and can’t completely wash it off after warmups. He plays the game with the makeup on, and no one can take him seriously, especially when he suggests a fight.

    Connor Dewar

Declining Duhaime’s offer to dress like a clown with him, Dewar decides to play a ring leader from the circus. That way, Duhaime won’t be too sad about not having matching costumes. All he does is throw on a bow tie and a top hat, but it makes Duhaime happy.

    Marcus Foligno

He’s just Ken. His job is puck.

Jared Spurgeon, Jake Middleton, Calen Addison, and Alex Goligoski

How these four decided to do a group costume together is unknown, but Spurgeon rounded them up, and Middleton decided on the costume. They all painted their faces and put on wigs to become the rock band Kiss. Addison immediately picks Catman, much to everyone’s surprise. Spurgeon becomes the Demon because he’s the leader. Middleton is Space Ace, and Goligoski is Starchild.

    Jonas Brodin and Brock Faber

These two decide together that they have to wear a costume to join the fun, but they don’t want to do much. So Faber wears his glasses and becomes Clark Kent, while Brodin wears a red cape and becomes Superman.

    Dean Evason

It didn’t take long for Evason to get tired of the comparison between him and Creed from The Office. So, he dresses as Dwight Schrute instead.

    Darby Hendrickson

He was going to dress as a punching bag, but then he rethought that idea when he realized that Evason might take it as an invitation to hit him more. So, he dresses as a stop sign instead.

    Kevin Gorg

Gorg takes his nickname of K-Train seriously and dresses in overalls and an engineer hat.

    Nordy

Nordy’s costume might be the best costume of the night because he dresses up as Herb Brooks in a 70’s style plaid suit coat.

The Whole team as the Green Giant would be nice. Sadly, they're disjointed and not focused on the right things. Nowhere near the commitment, or buy-in level. Better be spending more time figuring out how to score a PP goal than they are planning Halloween costumes. Find team consistency, not matching shoes & accessories.

Starting to agree more with the detractors, that we left the Country Club culture behind for the Corporate culture, with long-lunches, parties, butt-kissing, and who knows what getting enough results to be just adequate.

Marketing and PR time allocation should be 17 minutes per week until the PP is firing at 35%.

Let the Sasquatch look'n guy in the pic above worry about his costume and accessories. Pretty lazy, I'm getting the beer maybe but it could be an energy-drink or coffee. Indoor sunglasses, Thor-hammer, and plaid pants is not really a familiar combo but it looks like a Dallas fan, so he's probably afflicted by mental-retardation.

Talking about Green Giants, our former giant Jordan Greenway is playing second line on the loaded with high draft picks Buffalo Sabres. Reports say he is doing very well. Good for him, a change of scenery sometimes does the trick.

Bro went down to his costume locker in basement and grabbed one from each.  Take out Thor hammer and I’d have guessed Sasquatch or an Allman brother
