The Wild looked to continue much of the same kind of game by trying to suppress the Oilers' chances and continue to pressure in the offensive zone. Justin Fontaine would get his second of the game on a great feed from Zach Parise. That would bring the jerseys to the ice as an Oiler fan tossed his jersey to the playing surface. Ben Scrivens threw it back and then a skirmish broke out in the stands which resulted in the fans getting tossed from the game.
It's good to keep the winning going. It's huge to get another two points and inch ever-so closer to the playoff picture. It's even better to have done is in a controlling manor as they've usually been out-shot in each of the past few wins. However, this win is against a bottom dwelling team and something that a team in the Wild's situation should do.
