  • The Minnesota Wild have a new team dog!

    Guest

Thursday was a sad day for the Minnesota Wild. After a year of good times, the Wild announced that Breezer, the beloved team dog for the 2019-20 season, was off to accomplish bigger and better things as a service dog.

Breezer is the absolute best boy, and it’s a tough pill to swallow knowing that we won’t get to see him poop on the ice anymore.

Luckily, the Wild won’t be deprived of another very good boy in 2020-21. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to Hobey!

Hobey is a rescue pup named after the coveted Hobey Baker Award, which is given annually to the top hockey player in the NCAA. He has received extensive training from Breezer as he prepares to take over as team pup, and he’s sure to be an outstanding addition to the Wild.

If Hobey poops and pees on the ice, he may need a spot in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
