It is exhausting writing songs. I don't know how musicians do it.When writing a song in which the tune is already present (get it? present?), it makes it much easier, but dang. Keeping you people happy is brutal. You had better be singing this song at work, at home, and on airplanes.
If you remember, we did not set out to offend anyone, only to make a catchy, hopefully humorous song. The Twelve Days of Christmas already existed, so we went with that. I didn't want to have to write the Twelve Days of Yule, and then convert it to suit my purposes yet again. So, we go with what we have.
