The eight healthy defensemen don't seem to be doing much good, do they? We'll have to soldier on.
Last night, while shopping for the kids, I stopped into a book store. Who knew those still exist? Anyway, I talked to the nice lady behind the counter about the Twelve Days of Boar's Head Carol, but we could find no catchy tune to go along with the celebration. With the million monkeys we have typing at the million keyboards here at Hockey Wilderness, it's only a matter of time.
Looking at our drive for Toys For Tots, yesterday, we received some very good news. Just days ago, they were 115,000 toys short. As of yesterday morning, they were just 2000 shy of their goal. Our hope is that they made it. We put our faith in the people of Minnesota to step up, and they did. Thank you for that.
Now... why not give them a head start on next year? They'll do good things with it. We promise.
(Also, Happy Hanukka for any of our Jewish friends reading today, the first day of the celebration.)
