We are here. The end of the trip. Two days before the actual holiday. Which is good, because most of you won't be around much on the holiday, if I guess correctly. That's a good thing. Go spend time with loved ones, forget about the six game losing streak and just enjoy being.
When we began this song, things looked pretty good. We shared some jokes, took some jabs at the outside world, and a few at ourselves. Today, we offer Wild fans a simple admission that sometimes, things just need to be ignored, or at the very least, drown.
As we close out our song, we take note that we may be just a bit more bitter than we were before it started. Yet, we are still amazed at the joy of the season, with a successful Toys For Tots campaign, a food shelf robbed and replenished, and smiling children surrounding us despite not being able to find a Twelve Days of Mankar Sankranti.
