  • Swarm Vs Rush Game Thread

The Swarm face the Edmonton Rush in back to back matinee game today at 2 PM.

They defeated the Rush in their last last showing Friday night in Edmonton 13-8, celebrating the return of Callum Crawford from a hamstring injury. Rookie Kiel Matisz and Jordan Mac Intosh had hat tricks and Crawford had 9 points on the nights.

Can they do it again? Well, they may be without Captain Andrew Suitor who went down with a right knee injury in the game. His status for tonight is questionable. He previously went down with a knee injury in the home opener but returned to the game; I can't remember if it was the right knee that time however.

Like Friday night, the Swarm will do best if they stick to their game. Their goal tending is solid, and they've got the scoring prowess. Tonight they've got the extra man in the crowd at the hive. They've shown they can shut down the top scorers of the Rush in Mark Matthews, Ryan Ward and Corey Small.

Edmonton will come out fighting, but the Swarm is on home turf now. Come on down to the hive and check it out; It's dog day at the hive, so bring your pooch. Otherwise, you can check it out at mnswarm.com on the livestream.
