    From our sister site on SBNation, the Western College Hockey Blog, Ryan Stoa has signed with the Colorado Avalanche, and will forgo his final season with the Gophers. The post indicates that there are no reputable sites reporting the news, so maybe we can hope it is a false rumor, but it sounds real.

    Good for Stoa, good for the Avs. Terrible for the Gophers.
