  • Readers Poll: What Was The Best Minnesota Wild Moment Of The 2013/14 Season?

    Guest

For this poll, I've selected a bunch of different clips from last season, some on ice stuff, some off ice stuff, milestones, funny stuff etc. Voting is at the bottom of the article.

Kane's comments were a nice way to end what had been a fantastic series and playoffs for the Wild.

There were some great moments last season that occurred during games, but this one from the pregame warm-ups back in December melted hearts all around the league as Charlie Coyle made a young fan's day by waving back at him. It's all about the reaction.

The Wild played some dominant hockey early in the season but didn't have a lot of goals to show for it. That changed when the Stars came to St. Paul and were on the receiving end of a 5-1 thumping. The most memorable goal was Matt Dumba's, his first in the NHL. Hopefully we'll be seeing him do this on the powerplay many more times over the next few years.

    2. The Wild Beat Up On The Champs

The Wild were quite unfortunate in their second round series against the Chicago Blackhawks not to win more than two games. Game 3 wasn't their best performance, but they managed to keep the score at 0-0 going into the 3rd period. In the 3rd, things just went crazy as the Wild scored 4 times to shut out the champs and drive the Xcel Energy Center crowd into a frenzy.

    1. Nino Torpedoes The Avalanche's Season

Stanley Cup Playoffs, 1st round, Game 7, Overtime, the Wild have just come from behind 4 times against the Colorado Avalanche. Enter Nino.
