Minnesota is 7-0-0 in the last seven meetings played against San Jose at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild’s seven-game win streak against the Sharks in Saint Paul is its longest current home win-streak versus any NHL opponent. San Jose enjoyed success in the final month of 2014, going 9-3-1 in December. Meanwhile, Minnesota has gone 12-12-4 since the start of November. Minnesota posted a 39-24-11 record in the regular season during the 2014 calendar year. This time last year the Wild began a 23-10-7 record from New Year’s on to reach the playoffs. The Wild are going to need a similar result and who knows if it'll be enough. Check back at 6:45 for the gamethread and Go Wild!
