"The pre-season is here!" he shouted, as he hustled through the house one last time, feverishly fluffing the throw pillows and making sure all clutter was out of view. September 18th was a big day, because that was the day that JDP finally welcomed hockey back into his home for the first time since Minnesota was embarrassed on home ice by Mike Yeo's St. Louis Blues in the previous postseason's opening round. JDP was antsy to get back to work, but he wanted to make sure everything was just right. "Hey! Mrs. Pants!" he shouted up the stairs. "Come down here and welcome hockey back!" He heard Mrs. Pants shuffling around on the upper level of the house. "And make sure the Wilderness is equally welcoming, please! I don't want any funny business out of them!"
