The Minnesota Wild pulled off a preseason victory over the Detroit Red Wings in Detroit last night by scoring 3, yes 3, Power Play goals. Pierre-Marc Bouchard, Brent Burns, and Brian Rolston all scored for the Wild and Pavol Demitra had two assists. My second favorite goalie Josh Harding made 27 saves. Next up is a preseason match-up vs. the Chicago Blackhawks tonight in Chicago. Again, it’s only preseason and the games don’t count, but I am willing to bet both the Blackhawks and the Wild will be sizing each other up for the regular Season Opener at the "X" on October 4th. Skate hard Wild! Remember this is a fight for your job...
