  • Please Welcome Sealvester to Hockey Wilderness

As we mentioned earlier, when we introduced Agnes, we are going to introduce you to three new writers today. While Agnes joins the staff to help with the day-to-day focus of the site, the Minnesota Wild, we have other aspects of Minnesota hockey we need to keep an eye on. There are prospects around the globe that someone needs to keep an eye on, and while Dan does a spectacular job, we like to have as many eyes as close as possible.

When the Wild signed an affiliation deal with the Orlando Solar Bears, we knew we needed to find someone to keep the Wilderness up to date on happenings. The ECHL affiliation is something that is not always easy to grasp for fans of the big club, so it will be fun to see how that relationship works from the other end of the telescope.

It is not often that the big club deals with the ECHL affiliate, but there are a ton of players that worked their way up from the ECHL to the NHL, so it would be irresponsible to turn a blind eye. Plus, the ECHL is flat out a ton of fun.

With that, we introduce Sealvester, Orlando hockey extraordinaire.

On a personal note, I am looking forward to reading about the Solar Bears. This smaller teams have a way of making things fun on whole different levels for fans, and the hockey isn't always bad, either. Please join me, and the rest of the staff, in welcoming Sealvester to the team.

Think you could write a story like this? Hockey Wilderness wants you to develop your voice, find an audience, and we'll pay you to do it. Just fill out this form.
