I'm sure a lot of you play fantasy sports, whether it be football, hockey, baseball, etc.
Well, thanks to our friends over at Pension Plan Puppets, we've been invited to create a league of our very own for Pick SPG, a SBN-specific fantasy-type game. Some of you may be familiar with USCHO's Pick to Click. SPG is very similar to that.
The premise of the game is that you choose which Wild player is going to take the first shot, score the first goal, and take the first penalty in a game. You get one point for each correct guess. At the end of the game, the scores are tabulated and added to your season stats.
As a player, all you have to do register a username at www.pickspg.com , pick a team loyalty, and then pick the players (or no player) for each stat for each period before the game starts.
We can decide if we want to do a monthly league, maybe first-half/second-half, or full season. It would be nice if we can wrangle up some Wild-related prizes for the winners!
