    This will be the first time the two teams have faced off this season. Tonight's game will also be the first of a three game-series between the two teams. Last season, the Wild held a 2-1-0 series advantage against the Coyotes.

    Last 10 games: Phoenix 5-3-2; Minnesota 7-2-1

    Projected Minnesota Wild lines: Currently, the forward lines are a work in progress for the Minnesota Wild with all of the injuries.

    Minnesota Wild: The Wild are ranked 23rd in goals scored, and are ranked seventh in goals against. The Wild are also ranked seventh (21.6) on the power play, and are ranked 25th on the penalty kills (78.6).

    Phoenix Coyotes: The Coyotes are ranked third in goals scored, and are ranked 27th in goals against. The Coyotes are also ranked eighth on the power play, and are ranked 28th on the penalty kill (76.1).

    Injury Report:

    Wild starting to recover: According to Michael Russo, Ballard will play tonight. Grandlund (questionable), and Mitchell (doubtful) practiced today.
