In the most recent NHL season, 510 games were canceled because I don't know why. Call it greed, or greed, something certainly had a hold of the brass in the NHL offices and they felt despite bringing in a record 3+ billion dollars last season the iron was hot for striking, or locking out as it were.
510 games missed this season. It is coincidentally the number of games the NHL will try to make up in this best of 7 series to decide whose names will go on Lord Stanley's Cup.
