Yesterday, the Wild took a bold step for the future, drafting Mathew Dumba, a strong, big hitting, smooth skating defenseman with offensive powers still on the board. Dumba will add to the stable of defensemen in the system, and hopefully develop into the type of player the Wild need long term.
Will Chuck Fletcher make a package deal to move up in the second round? Package together later picks to add more picks in the second round? Do they stand pat and just try to find the gems in the left overs?
