New Aeros Blog

This post was delayed by a few days in order to allow the State High School Hockey Tournament, first round of the WCHA playoffs, and a couple Wild games to play out. Did not want this site to get lost in the shuffle.

There is a new site available to all of you out there who desire coverage of the Houston Aeros. It is called The Third Intermission and it combines the efforts of four of the best at covering the Aeros.From my understanding, all four contributors will keep their own sites and cross post game and team information, making T3I "the definitive blog about  Houston Aeros hockey."

First, there is the ever optimistic, funny, and witty Ms. Conduct that Wilderness readers should already be familiar with. Her blog has been around for over a year, and is not only one of the best about the Aeros, but one of the best on the entire Interweb. I have said it before, and I will say it now. If you aren't reading her blog, you should be, and if I find out you aren't, I will break your fingers.

Next up is John Royal, who is the author behind The ClownVision Chronicles, which focuses on all sports in the Houston market, not just the Aeros. Still, the blog has excellent information about the Aeros and is in and of itself, quite entertaining. John is also a member of the Houston Press covering the Aeros and other topics.

Third on the list of T3I contributors (there is no particular order to this by the way) is Andrew J. Ferraro, also known as Aeroscribe. His blog, Scoring for Houston is the one member of the team that I am unfamiliar with, but looking over his stuff the past few days, he is really good at what he does as well, so another strong contributor.

****UPDATE... Ms. Conduct has informed me that Andrew is the beat writer for the Houston Chronicle, and is also the brains behind T3I. ****

Rounding out the squad is photographer Frad Trask. Fred is an accomplished sports photographer, covering all Houston area sports, including the Aeros. His photos have been used in so many applications and so far across the spectrum of media it is difficult to list them all here. Just head over to T3I and take a gander at his work. According to Ms. Conduct, Fred does not have his own website, so T3I will be a great place for everyone to be able to see his work all in one place.

So there you have it. The Third Intermission. Visit early, visit often. Add it to your RSS feeds, Google Readers, bookmarks, or whatever other method you may be using to get your daily fix. No matter how you get there, just get there.
