For a playoff team, the Wild had more of these players than you may expect. But there's a problem for those who cherish the role of the Whipping Boy: They're going extinct in Minnesota. An invasive species known as "Solid, cheap depth" has driven these players out of the State of Hockey.
Like The Slayer, when one Whipping Boy goes away, another takes it's place. There will be at least one person on the roster who will induce groans every time they're on the ice, whose mistakes will be reviled, who will end up blamed for everything.
Am I missing something here? Let us know! Tell us in the comments which Wild player makes you go "Oh, Dammit!" at a high rate!
