For the enemy perspective, please drop by Nucks Misconduct.
Here's one sentence that sums everything up, and it's a tweaked quote from GerDivine: 5-1 despite Schneider having an amazing game. That's how well the Wild did.
So tonight, we've been treated to an offensive outburst, led mostly by Matt Cullen, who probably had his single best performance ever, a 45 shot onslaught, a full 60 minutes of great hockey...all this at the Canucks' expense. What more could you want? Like I said, the Wild will be hard-pressed to top this.
Just like that, the Wild are a decent 6-3-3, 2nd in the Northwest, they have a positive goal differential for the first time since game 4 and they have a playoff spot for at least a little while.
Isn't it amazing the difference one game can make?

A few facts:
- The Wild have killed 12 consecutive penalties
- From #Dave_Schwartz: Harding is 13-5-2 all-time at home as a starter, with a 2.20 GAA and a .927 SV%.
- From #rstanzel: 9 shots for Cullen - Only 3 players in #mnwild history have had more - Rolston (11) and Gaborik (10, twice). Also had 2 attempts blocked.
- The second period (of all periods) was the first 3-goal period for the Wild this season... in fact, tonight was only the Wild 3rd game in which they scored at least 3.
- 45 shots on net for the Wild is a new home record. It may even be a new record, period. I need confirmation on this.
- It's HW resident Shelby's (shleske) birthday today. She was at the game, so let's all thank her for giving some birthday luck to the Wild!
