The first period was the epitome of boring hockey. Seriously. There was a total of 16 shots between both teams, and the majority of the plays were in the middle of the rink. This is the one time I will agree with other fanbases when they say the Wild play boring hockey.
After the game, Suter said that he feels like the team has hit rock bottom. Head Coach Mike Yeo disclosed in his post game presser that he's stopped talking to the locker room after games in order to give the team a chance to work through the problems. He stated that trying other things hasn't worked, but honestly that statement really sounds like a last ditch effort to start something.
