Remember the time the Wild faced the Wings and won? Yeah, me either.
Let's just say, the Wings are a much, much better team than the Wild, and get it out of the way. Their scorers are, you know, scoring. Their checkers, checking. Their d-men, doing it all. Their goalies are not spectacular. In fact, they are anything but spectacular. Sub-par by most descriptions. (Fill in stats making Jimmy Howard look like a god here: ___________).
Yes, the Wings are a better squad. Especially with the state of the Wild mentality right now. Still, Josh Harding nearly stole a game from them in the last meeting, and he is in again tonight. Plus, there are those fancy lavender dashers. Who knows, maybe the fates smile down upon them and something good happens tonight.
Because, as we all know, the world often does things, just to make people feel better. Or was that just a cartoon I once saw?
