There might be animosity between the teams at junctures in the game, and at one point or another, this may result in angry displays of fisticuffs or other violent acts. According to the rules, these are allowed, but with a token punishment meant to dissuade these actions, but that rarely does so.

Should the home team decide to avail itself of the talent on the roster of players, the chances of reward shall be greatly enhanced.

While the opponent this evening is not a simple task to defeat, these are what some might call "low hanging fruit." These are games the experts (who have seen the replay) say that the home team must win in order to be taking seriously. Losing could lead some to think the chances of the home team making a post season tournament to be headed down a path to death. So it goes.
