Frankly, the Ducks had a much worse outcome to a game that seemed to be somewhat similar fancy stat wise to the Wild/LA game. The Ducks had the upper hand when it came to those stats, but got dominated on the scoreboard.
While the Ducks appear to be a good test for the Wild tonight, at the same time it shouldn't be all that difficult either (in theory). As we'll hear from Anaheim Calling's managing editor a little later today, the Duck's glaring weakness is their defense. For a team that has the players suiting up for the Wild tonight, scoring shouldn't be an issue.
But as all Minnesota sports fans know, our teams tend to make things that should be easy very difficult. With a young line up, you never really know how things are going to shake out. Add in the fact that the CAPTAIN LINE played an excellent defensive game, even coach Yeo was unimpressed with their offensive game against the Kings.
