It's obvious that the Wild had a much better game tonight since they put 33 shots on goal, right? Right? Isn't that what all of the geniuses have been telling us all season?
Oh, wait, it's not about the shot total, but the ones that go in that matter?
Crap.
Things just got worse from there. The Canucks controlled the chances and Luongo got all the help he needed, whereas the Wild chased the Sedins around the rink until someone ended up on Niklas Backstrom's doorstep all alone to bury the shot.
So, 4 straight losses. Is this the start of the regression? Is this where the man-games lost start to take their toll on the on-ice product? Are we suddenly going to see a team put shots on goal but lose badly?
