The key to the past four Minnesota Wild games and the Minnesota Wild winning streak is that the Wild are playing with incredible energy and the energy is contagious. Don’t get me wrong, the line of Branko Radivojevic, Stephane Veilleux and Mikko Koivu has played with energy and determination all year. What those guys lack in skill, they more than make up for in effort, but this is one of the first times this year that I can remember seeing the other lines like Marian Gaborik and Pavol Demitra’s playing with same type of reckless abandon.
This type of Minnesota Wild energy is s a good sign that there will be a long playoff run for this Wild team, because the only teams that advance in the NHL playoffs are teams that play like there is no tomorrow! Here’s a thought, maybe the Wild players are all worried that Chris Simon will kick their butts if they don’t play well.
