Parise took a really bad slashing penalty right before the second period ended, which allowed the Preds to open up the third on a powerplay. Luckily, the Wild were able to kill that off, bringing them to a whopping 5 for 9 kills.
The rest of the third was the storyline of the Wild season so far. Try, try and try, and receive nothing. The numbers are good, the results are not.
It's ok to be frustrated folks. But freaking out over THREE games in an 82 game season is way too extreme.
Five Questions:
1. Both teams are looking for their first win. Who puts in the work to get it done? Nashville gets the win, even though the Wild did most of the hard work tonight.
3. The storyline of the game will be the Booing of Suter. Does he show Nashville fans why they should be crying over him leaving? That's a negative Ghostrider, the pattern is full
4. The power play has been looking spectacular lately. Can the team carry that momentum to it's first road game? Power play looked great. The penalty kill needs some massive work though. Woof.
