Anyone who knows hockey knows that the Xcel Energy Center in St Paul, Minnesota is one of the best places to watch a hockey game. The excellent sight lines, the smooth ice, the state-of-the-art sound, light and scoring system, the wide concourses, easy parking, myriad of food and beverage choices and the list goes on and on. I may be biased since St Paul is my hometown, but I have visited other hockey arenas in the country and the Xcel Energy Center definitely ranks at the top.
In fact, ESPN The Magazine has even recognized the superiority of the "X." ESPN named the Xcel Energy Center as the #1 Arena in the Nation for having the "best stadium experience." Minnesota is proud to be the state of hockey and proud to be the home of the Xcel Energy Center – our capital city has no finer venue! Next time you visit the Xcel Energy Center, leave me your thoughts! Opening night is only 12 days away! Let's go Wild - Let's rock the "X"!!!
