There are a large number of Wild fans that, given the choice, would love to swap rosters with the Sabres. If they could bring along Mikko Koivu, that number significantly increases.
How the Sabres have continually found themselves struggling for their playoff lives is beyond me. They have talent seeping from their ears, and yet almost annually find a way to be on the bubble. Ryan Miller alone has to be good for about 20 wins a season, and yet here they are. Ninth place by virtue of a tie breaker. At some point, doesn't someone need to realize there is an issue and correct it?
No, I don't know what that issue is, but it's there.
With the Sabres fighting for the playoffs, the Wild have a chance to play spoiler. With their stunning lack of offense, however, don't expect the Wild to feel like much of a threat to Miller. This one likely won't be ugly, but it likely doesn't go the way of the Wild.
