The Mike Yeo system does not fit with players like Greg Zanon, so getting something for him is a good thing. The Wild trade a one dimensional player for a young player who looks to be still under development, but good turn out to be a solid d-man.
Kampfer has a cap hit of $850K, on a two way deal that expires after next season. He would be an RFA at that point. He is currently in the AHL.
