Foster spent most of his partial season with the Wild auditioning for other NHL executives, and I hope it works out well for him. I'd like to see him get another shot, but I just don't know if it's going to happen.
Nathan - I think I see why New Jersey had no problem moving Foster, he just isn't the same guy anymore. Disappointing, because I wanted to see that cannon back on the blue line and get someone who would have a hard, heavy shot on the power play, but Fozzie's game isn't there.

Bryan - It was good to have Fozzie back in a Wild sweater, even if it was only a handful of games. Fourteen games played, no points, back issues... that wasn't the way he wanted the season to end, but it is what it is. It is highly unlikely he will be back next season. He wasn't terrible in his games, but he certainly wasn't the Kurtis Foster of old.

Jesse - Foster made his return to the State of Hockey for an illustrious 14 games. 0 points in that time frame. However, he did come in during a part of the season when the Wild were basically laying down and dying. Foster did have 14 points in 37 games prior to his stint in Minnesota, so there's still some talent left. His defense was better since the last time he was here. In the end, he was another warm body for the roster, but he wasn't a total detriment to the team.
