The Swarm need this game. They need it more than the Wild need a win, and the Wild need them pretty bad. Starting the year 1-3 in a 16 game season puts the Swarm in an unenviable position. Wins need to happen, and they need to happen now.
The Swarm's defense has been suspect this season, and they will need that to change to beat the Rock tonight. Keep an eye on the defense, and how they are playing. Positive play will result in a win. The same play as we have seen? It could be a tough night.
Stop back here later, and throughout the game for conversation and fun.
Minnesota Swarm "Lines"
Offense - Ryan Benesch, Callum Crawford, Shayne Jackson, Corbyn Tao, Jay Card and Joel Henry
Defense - Jeff Gilbert (A), Andrew Suitor ©, Andrew Watt, Brock Sorensen, Kiel Matisz, Tyler Hass
*note - Five players on the field at any given time, just like in hockey. These six players make up the core of each side of the ball, and will rotate in and out during the game.
Goaltending - Evan Kirk & Tyler Carlson
Five Questions
1. Second home game, second win?
2. Can the Swarm defense pull it together?
3. Shayne Jackson and Kiel Matisz have won back to back Rookie of the Week awards. Do either deserve it again after tonight?
4. Who is the hero for the Swarm tonight?
5. Can the Swarm pull out a win for the heroes in the crowd?
