Kevin Fiala’s Wife Won't Stop Burning Him On Social Media

Let’s be honest: When Minnesota Wild fans think about the Kevin Fiala trade, we won in the end. Brock Faber and Liam Ohgren? For a good player, sure. But one the Wild didn't have the cap space to extend? Bill Guerin managed to finesse gold out of straw with that. But there is one part of the trade that no one talks about. Kevin Fiala’s wife, Jessica, is one of the funniest WAGs in the professional world, and she manages to troll Kevin in the way that only someone who deeply loves you can troll you.

Kevin seems to be an eternal optimist, always lopping around like a golden retriever puppy. Jessica is always lovingly annoyed by his antics. He is apparently impervious to hangovers, which Jessica has revealed from a Target parking lot where she was surviving her hangover with a recent purchase of popsicles. After a night out on the town, Jessica made a video from the front door to the bedroom, following a trail of clothes that Kevin apparently abandoned on his way to bed for the night.

The biggest thing Jessica has introduced to fans about Kevin is his undying love and admiration for his plants. He pays very careful attention to all of them, adding more whenever he can and mourning when one of them dies. He even made his own centerpiece with no help from his wife at all.

Kevin is also an avid Amazon Prime user, much to Jessica's chagrin. It seems that Kevin uses it mostly to buy novelty items that will hold his attention briefly. At one point, it was a picnic basket that looked like it needed to be repacked very precisely in order for it to shut. Kevin doesn’t seem to be a person who would have the patience to do that.

Recently, Kevin ordered a paddleboard, which he took out and inflated right in the entryway. He was obviously too excited to wait. However, the photo that Jessica took looks like the thrill wore off quickly, and Kevin was off, most likely to tend to his plants again.

In an even better turn of events, Kevin took his paddleboard to the beach, where Jessica filmed his attempts to actually use the board. In the three clips that Jessica posted, Kevin fell off each time. The caption said something along the lines of: “the one day that this will be used.”

In case you were worried, Jessica is perfectly funny without Kevin’s antics. Right after posting their pregnancy announcement, Jessica posted a tweet from the beginning of the season when someone blamed Kevin’s bad game on “his wife probably being pregnant.” She added a meme and a little caption that will never be topped.

Ultimately, it’s fun to see a side of a star hockey player that we wouldn’t otherwise see. Jessica shares just the right type of light, loving humor without letting fans get too much of an invasive look at their family. She keeps him humble while also celebrating his amazing achievements. And she is a treasure that LA Kings fans better appreciate.
