With their second pick in the first round, the Ottawa Senators had the choice to pull the parachute on Alexander Khokhlachev's free fall, and yet chose not to. The poor guy is going to really start wishing he had chosen McDonald's over tofu dogs here pretty quick.

No, the Senators leave the Russian on the board and take Matt Puempel, a good sized left wing who looks like he belongs in a role saying "I see dead people" or some other classic child actor line. Puempel is almost guaranteed first round material, but 21 is pretty good position for him. Great pick by Ottawa.

Will the Ducks bolster a seemingly weak defensive prospect pool, or will they add to the incredible depth in the forward ranks. You make the choice, and you are on the clock.
