The Wild are in Detroit to take on the Red Wings tonight in Little Caesars Arena (pizza pizza!). It’s the Wild’s first trip to Detroit since they helped the Red Wings open the new arena in the first game of last season.
Puck drops at 6:38 CT. The game will be televised on FOX Sports North PLUS and FOX Sports Wisconsin. As always, you can listen to the game through the Wild mobile app, on FM 100.3 KFXN in the Twin Cities, and the various Wild Radio Network affiliates.
The Wild will be trying to keep the positive energy that they saw in New York Wednesday going. The team got the message after the Charlie Coyle trade and played its best hockey in nearly two weeks. They will take on a Red Wings team that has lost three in a row and six of its last eight. The Red Wings are without goalie Jimmy Howard tonight (flu), so Jonathan Bernier starts and Harri Sateri is up from the AHL.
