Well. Game 2 on Tuesday night didn’t go as many fans hoped. The 4-3 loss stung, but was lessened somewhat by the fact that the series is tied at 1-1. The goaltending and defense have been the hockey version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Minnesota will need to keep both focused and dangerous for Vancouver’s offense in today’s game. So take a late lunch, get your jersey on, and practicing some deep breathing exercises. Today’s game is going to be high octane and probably make our smart watches think we’re doing a cardio workout, not watching hockey. (Then again, who said watching hockey wasn’t a cardio workout?)
