The Wild are finally making their home debut for the 2019-20 season. Minnesota may not be off to the greatest start — they’re actually off to a rather horrendous start — but it’s still good to have the Wild back at Xcel Energy Center.
The Penguins are in town, and they’ve been decimated by injuries recently. They do still have a healthy Sidney Crosby, though, so that certainly won’t make things easy for the Wild.
Minnesota desperately needs a win, and beating Crosby’s Penguins in the home opener would be quite satisfying. Let’s see if the Wild step up and make it happen.
