The Minnesota Wild did what they had to do and split the series in Sin City against the Vegas Golden Knights, but now it’s on the home team to keep the advantage by taking care of business at the X. Game three is tonight at 8:30 p.m.
Max Pacioretty at Tomas Nosek are both game-time decisions for VGK, though neither took part in morning skate so it’s likely Vegas won’t have either player. Marc-Andre Fleury was the first goalie off the ice for Vegas during today’s practice, so he’ll likely get the start again.
Perhaps surprisingly, Dean Evason is going with the exact same lineup in game three after a couple players had poor games, Marcus Johansson being the most notable. But MoJo is still slated to draw in to the lineup, which means Zach Parise will miss his third straight playoff game.
Get ready for a big game three with some great playoff content:
Matt Boldy’s been great in Iowa
Evason plans on keeping things the same for game 3
A home team that wins game 3 after being tied 1-1 wins the series 63.2% of the time. If the away team tilts the advantage back their way, they move on at a 71% clip.
