Defenseman Kurtis Foster is expected to make is competitive hockey return tonight with the Houston Aeros against the Chicago Wolves. The game is in Chicago, and can be watched for $6 at AHL Live.
This is Fozzy's first game since March 18 of last year when his leg was broken during a rush to touch-up an icing call. San Jose's Tory Mitchell gave Foster a push from behind sending Foster awkwardly into the end boards, and breaking Foster's femur in three places.
Author's note: In sense of karmic justice, Mitchell broke his own leg charging the net in training camp.
Other news regarding what neide calls our "Clutterbuck love," Cal's jersey has taken the top spot in sales for Wild players. According to articles related to the fighting debate, and Derek Boogaard's comment that he believes jersey sales would slip if enforcers and fighting were removed from the league, the top four jerseys in sales are:
Clutterbuck, Koivu, Burns, Boogaard.
Which Wild jersey(s) do you already own, or do you want?
