Via their Twitter account, Defending the Blue Line said, "DTBL is honored, humbled, and completely unsurprised by the continued generosity of the Boogaard family."
This is an amazing gesture of selflessness by the Boogaard family and will no doubt go a long way toward helping the mission of Defending the Blue Line, a group dedicated to "keeping hockey alive for the children of our nation's heroes."
I hope everyone reading here at Hockey Wilderness will strongly consider making a donation in Derek's name.
