In order to spur some off-season discussion, we at SBNation hockey decided to do our best Colbert Report impression and devise our own "Better know an NHL Blog." We've paired up with another blog and have exchanged a couple questions to really get to gist of what the other fanbase is thinking about their squad.

Hockey Wilderness: With so much money spent over the last few years on the Rangers personnel, and the team not meeting expectations, it seems as if the squad is taking a much different feel this season. With players like Gaborik, Higgins, Kotalik, Staal and some of the younger guys, the Rangers are dumping the aging vets and trying to get younger and faster. Has the fanbase been motivated by these changes and is the idea of the Rangers being a Western Conference team stuck in the East gone?
Also, with the huge contract paid to Marian Gaborik, what's the feel out there? Are you guys excited, or looking at him and waiting for his groin to tear?
