Hello simulated hockey fans! Opening night was a success, except when you consider both the Oilers and the Jets got wins. Tonight, our Wild opens their series at home against the Anaheim Ducks. Should be interesting. Here's what's on the docket for tonight:
So 4 games tonight, back to 2 tomorrow. It sucks that it turned out that way, but it's not the end of the world. I'll be watching the Wild-Ducks games and I'll give the boxscore for the other 3.
Anaheim Ducks @ Minnesota Wild
Speaking of Visnovsky, he was an offensive force for the Ducks in the 1st period, with a goal, an assist and a whopping 5 shots on goal. Shots were 18-8 for the Ducks, but the Wild had a 3-2 lead after 20. This was a pretty physical game compared to last night's matchup between the Oilers and the Avs. The two teams compared for 12 hits in the first period, while the Oilers and Avs only had 4.
