Today is the day where the games get tighter, the battles in the corners get more intense and the goals typically are harder to come by. We say some blowouts and some games that went into extra sessions. What will today bring? Who will be victorious and live to play for the title?

How they got there
Hibbing/Chisholm defeated #3 seed Rochester Lourdes 4-0
Hermantown defeated Alexandria 5-1.
Previous meeting: 2-2 tie on February 18.
This is the game of the day. Two Iron Range teams coming down to St. Paul to finish a grudge match. After tying earlier in the season and watching their opening games, there's no reason to think we aren't in for a great, tightly contested match. That said, I still think we're looking at a Hermantown - St. Thomas final.

How they got there
Thief River Falls defeated Breck 7-5
St. Thomas Academy defeated New Ulm 13-2
Previous meeting: none
Seeing the way TRF came after Breck and beating Warroad in the section final proves that the Prowlers are for real and aren't afraid of a team with a pedigree. Will they be able to keep the Cadets off the scoreboard though? If they get into an up and down game like the one with Breck, I just don't see TRF being able to hang around.
