The Minnesota Wild are suddenly looking for their fifth consecutive win as they host the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday afternoon.
While the team is still missing some solid depth players, especially on the blue line, they do have an interesting player making their Wild debut. Declan Chisholm was claimed off of waivers from the Winnipeg Jets earlier and his trip down across the border was delayed due to visa issues, but now that it is all cleared up the 24-year-old blueliner is making his first game at his new home at The X.
We have already discussed what Chisholm could potentially bring to this team as a two-way threat on the blue line, so the spotlight might be on him.
If the Wild earn the two points against Buffalo, they will find themselves just out of the Wild Card spot and leapfrogging both the Nashville Predators and Seattle Kraken for the first spot out of the playoffs. Will they do it?
