Ugh. Some good things in that game but plenty of bad as well.

Yes I get Fred is dean’s favorite. They’ve played him top six last few years , it’s never made a good line. I don’t get what bill and Dean see. I watched that Toronto game again. He was bad. Tonight he did nothing . 1 blk one shot . Lost big draws and glided around. How is 38 pts last year and 0 points this year get you 2nd line center .  He’s got a no move clause and deserves to be criticized. Listening to tnt talk about him , you can tell wild pr we’re selling none sense to them.  He’s not a defensive specialist or a consistent offensive player. 5 years. Ughh

It’s not boldys fault he’s on a terrible line. The vets need the criticism 

Dean and Bill have "their guys" and they are not always the right guys. And both are pretty inflexible about their choices. I don't think Bill is quite ready to be a GM in the NHL. He has to get over the fact that he is not playing anymore. 

The PK was NOT bad. They lost a close game against a good team. Losing some close ones recently isn't shameful.

I agree the pk was not bad. I’m curious to see how it goes now that teams have tape on our new pk style. Will it last? I also agree it isn’t shameful to lose to good teams . Good teams can go into a funk for a few games.  IMO what is shameful is a .389 winning percentage 18 games in. Taking 15 games to find some type of compete level with a veteran team and coach. Last night foligno and DE said we could have beat Colorado. You have a. 389 win percentage. You can’t beat anyone. Even the tnt crew found that galling to say.   Just say we didn’t play well enough. DE was gripping about refs again. It still isn’t an excuse for .389 win percentage. Shameful is giving 0  pts fred  2 nd center,  2 nd power play , 1st pk  and blaming Boldy for not scoring. It’s shameful because you’ve seen Fred in top six for 2 years and nothing has come of it. They road fiala and kappy a year an an all world goal tending  the next year. Not Fred’s great top six performance   Last night Fred lost two big face offs at end of game. He got us pinned in our own end and couldn’t get goalie to bench . We have watched him get caved in the playoffs on faceoffs. He loses the important ones. Letteri I believe is near 56% face off plus 2 goals. IMO it’s shameful to keep doing the same thing year after year. The wild and there media keep calling them a playoff team. There 2 pts from last place with no games in hand.  They should just say we’re not playing good enough and we need to 

play better. Enough with the excuses. It just reeks of entitlement! 
    On a positive. Listening to  Canada hockey talk. They were talking about what young d need to do to be successful. They were absolutely gushing over Faber. His skill , the minutes he eats , the signs of him developing offensively. They said he is what you want a young d man to be. They were also talking about him as deserving the Calder or being 2nd in votes. That’s pretty cool. You never hear Canada media talk about any of our players except for kappy. Nice to hear Faber get some love from Canada.
