Fun fact: 2yrs ago today the Wild also played the Isles, albeit it was in Minnesota. Came up on my FB memories cause I was at the game!

Loved the guy, but I always question any "hits" stats for Clutterbuck going back to his Wild days. Dude got more credit for hits when either just grazing the dude or just smashing against the boards than probably any player in history.

1st period observations. Holy shit what a start! Thought the 2nd half of the period and even on the PP the guys were trying to get too cute again. Boldy with a turnover up high when he should’ve went deep leading back to a rush. PP never did really have a look. Isles goal was a straight snipe with Dewar in front. 
 

Boys need to get pack to the heavy forecheck, puck possession, cycle game. 

Another thing, the Isles barn looks empty as hell. Seems odd to me, not like they’re a bottom feeder or anything.  

Fudge. 6secs away from another kill. Lou’s grandson and Mermis both got walked on that. Never should’ve even been a SOG opportunity.

Uh oh Hartzy down the tunnel and a brutal shift defending for like 2mins straight. And…you guessed it, another penalty. Hopefully boys can get this kill and Hartzy is able to come back on. 

Interesting to see the Wild with Faber, Hunt, Mermis, and Addison playing who are all essentially rookie NHL players. Just find that to be noteworthy after being accustomed to almost all veteran defense for many years.
