The young guys are here in Chicago.

They're here! Since the Minnesota Wild are facing the lowly Chicago Blackhawks and are pretty locked in the standings, they kept Kirill Kaprizov, Mats Zuccarello, Jonas Brodin, and Jared Spurgeon in Minnesota for the one-game road trip to Illinois. But! This means that recently recalled Marco Rossi and Nic Petan get to make their impressions against a bad team and hometown Brock Faber gets to make his NHL debut.

It isn't the most interesting game when it comes to the context of the season, but we will be keeping an eye on all the young guys and debutant.

    Projected Wild lineup

Marcus Johansson -- Frederick Gaudreau -- Matt Boldy
Nic Petan -- Marco Rossi -- Ryan Hartman
Gustav Nyquist -- Sam Steel -- Marcus Foligno
Brandon Duhaime -- Connor Dewar -- Ryan Reaves

    Jake Middleton -- Calen Addison
    Alex Goligoski -- Brock Faber
    Jon Merrill -- John Klingberg

    Filip Gustavsson
    Marc-Andre Fleury

    Projected Blackhawks lineup

Tyler Johnson -- Jonathan Toews -- Jason Dickinson
Anders Bjork -- Andreas Athanasiou -- Buddy Robinson
Boris Katchouk -- Jujhar Khaira -- Joey Anderson
Austin Wagner -- MacKenzie Entwistle -- Reese Johnson

    Caleb Jones -- Seth Jones
    Wyatt Kaiser -- Connor Murphy
    Andreas Englund -- Nikita Zaitsev

    Alex Stalock
    Petr Mrazek

Addison that goals on you brah

I don't have ESPN (Have ESPN+, but apparently that's not good enough), but watching the replay Addison was absolutely horrid on that play. Loses his guy, just points on him, and then has 3 chances to stop him from getting the puck, and fails on all three. Just brutal.

    Hi guys! I'm watching live

We have typical Addison, plays a role in all 3 goals, gets an assist and gives up 2, -1 tonight.

Not surprising. What surprises me is how people think he is a hidden gem still.

Gonna need L2 to go ape shit to keep this close...but I'm guessing the Hawks have figured that out already. Can only hope the call has come in from ownership to halt any action against the Wild's L2.

He is just brutal tonight. It's like watching a Bantam player in the NHL.

Rossi looks better, but still, way too much coasting and not enough battling.

Noticing that as well, especially with the last Chicago goal. Was hoping for more hunger/push from him. Hopefully as the game goes on he becomes more noticeable (in a good way).

Wouldn't expect the chemistry to be outstanding under the circumstances but it's not surprising to see the plus minus category right in the normal range for certain guys.

Chicago isn't the team that you wanna come out and lose to if you're Addison or Rossi and you're on opportunity number two. Show us something good that starts to dispel the bad rep boys.

Hell of a pass from Stalock right there.

I miss seeing those. Stalock was such an entertaining goalie to watch. The guy has a ton of heart and glad to see he is still playing in the NHL after all the trials and tribulations he has faced.

Again Addison watches Chi shoot (not his fault) but then does nothing to prevent from getting rebound for shot #2

he’s not doing a good job of earning the teams trust

Kind of like he's mailing it in.
